This year we spent Christmas and New Years with my family at a lodge in Utah. We had so much fun!! My mom came up with a bag of stuff for each family and we all had to be creative and make something, there were home movies, Gray's birthday, limbo (only we jumped over the stick instead of going under the stick), games, teepees, gifts, everyone pitched in in the kitchen. It was a memorable Christmas and New year.

Cami
While I was taking Livvy's pictures today, Cami asked me "PLEASSSSSSE" to take her picture too. So while we have about 40 pictures, I will include these 2 for you all to see and I will tell you a funny story about Cami.
Cami thinks I have a REALLY big bum. How do I know this? This is how I know.....
1. Last week as we were going up the steps to school, Cami was behind me and she said to me "Wow! Mommy, I think that you have the biggest bum in the whole wide world".
2. Cami says "Mom, when I grow up and I am a Mommy, then will I have a really big bum, just like you!?".
3. While we were visiting our family in Utah, Cami says to her cousins while they are taking her to the potty "You have to hold me so I don't fall in, but my mommy won't fall in because her bum is too big".
4. "Mommy, you shouldn't sit on this chair, it is for little kids like me. If you sit on the chair it will break because your bum is so big"
So, lately my self esteem concerning my derriere has been a little low.... I guess it's a good thing it is a new year so that I can start working on decreasing its size!!! ;)
14 months
Livvy turned 14 months yesterday. So here are some pictures of our little cutie pie at 14 months. Some interesting things about Livvy are;
1. She loves to laugh. She laughs all day long every day. I had to put a picture in of her when she was throwing her head back in a full blown laughing session. I started to sing "the Eensey Weensey Spider" and she knows she gets tickled during that song, so before I could get my hands out to give her a squeeze, she threw her head back and started laughing. That is typical Livvy.
2. She LOVES to cuddle and hug everyone. If you ask her for a "squishy" she will run to your arms and throw her arms around your neck and squeeze you tight. She doesn't "squish" and run, she stick there and loves you for a while. She loves to love everyone.
3. She is very social. She will wave at anyone who looks at her. And if you smile at her, she will blow you kisses. She will chatter on and on and on.
4. She is right smack in the middle of teething, HARD. She is getting 4 molars and one front tooth. She is in pain, and she is still so sweet. It is her personality. She is so good natured.
5. She loves to color.
6. She is NOT a picky eater.
7. Last week we went to the doctor for some needed flu shots, and Livvy, well, SHE DID NOT CRY!!!! That's right. Not a peep. Little sweetie that she is, she cuddled me right after for a few minutes and then wanted to get down so she could run and jump.
8. She jumps. She loves to Jump. It is funny. She plants both feet on the ground and just lifts off. She jumps and jumps, she reminds me a little Tigger. So funny to see.
9. This month she has started twirling. Everywhere we go she twirls. It is so dang funny. She gets going as fast as her feet can go and when she is done she tries to walk/run... and she crashes every time. She looks like a little drunk baby. It is so funny to see.
10. She sings so well. She loves to sing, and she leads everyone while she is singing, expecting them to join her... and we usually do!!

We're back!!
All year long my family and I look forward to Christmas time. We are thankful for the birth of Christ. Another reason we love Christmas is because we get to spend so much time with our family. We get to spend a week and a half with our family. We love them. We had such a great trip to Utah last month. We got to see my big brothers new home. It is really nice. We went to our cabin and spent time snowmobiling. We went to Zarahemla camp with my family and spent a few days there. The kids loved it. We watched a lot of OLD home movies. We opened a time capsule that our family wrote to ourselves 20 years ago. We played games and enjoyed each others company.
I am thankful to be home. I am thankful to have all of the kids healthy again and back in school. I am looking forward to a new year. I am going to post my New Years Resolutions soon. I just have not had time to think of them all, yet! I am working on it and hoping to finalize my list soon. Happy New Year!
