A few photo Gems

Max and Annie went to school this summer.

Max is super creative. He loves creating things. Here he is in a bat costume he made.

Spending time on a date with our girls.

Annie and Max did gymnastics.

I love that these girls still like to dress like twins.

Cami got her tonsils out... it was rough.

Cami and her friend.

Emily came to stay with us this summer.

Annie was afraid of the fireworks.

Can't keep this family out of the water!!!

Eating out with kids and friends. Red Lobster is now Max's favorite restaurant. We pass it every day on the way to school and he keeps asking to go back!

Cooking with Cami.

Saying good bye to Emiy.

Aspen came for a visit and she brought her sweet baby, Archer, with her.

All the kids were in love with Archer.

Cami did a drama camp during the summer.

Olivia continues working hard at gymnastics and cheer.

The kids think they are super cool driving the golf cart around the neighborhood.... I think they're super cool, too!

Max and Annie eat a cookie every morning on the way to school.... I try to sneak healthy stuff in it.

Tennis camp was a blast for the kids!

We loved going to the balloon races.

Arrived at IHOP at 6am because we thought we had a 6am flight out of Dallas.... whoops! It was 6pm!!!  LOL.

Glo and her boyfriend, Kalub.  They broke up in August.

Inside the House

This is our new house. I took a lot of these pictures right before we moved in and some  right after we moved in.   A lot has changed since these pictures were taken in terms of decor and furniture.
I love my home. This last picture is a shot of of our front entryway. I love the arched ceiling and the columns. The inlaid tile is beautiful. There is crown molding in every room on ceiling and baseboards. There are so many details that are just stunning. I could never have built a home like this because my tastes are so simple, yet I love every little detail that was put into this home. I didn't ever think I would live in a home like this... I worried it would overwhelm my senses. But it doesn't. I can sit and stare at my beautiful ceilings or look at my cupboards or chandeliers and just appreciate the beauty of them. The bar in the front entryway is probably the only thing that I don't love, but I am coming to appreciate it more as time goes by. But other than that.... it's perfect!!  I love the floors. I love the ceilings. I love the walls (textured so beautifully). I love the light fixtures and the fireplace and everything. It really is our dream house and I am so grateful to have it for my home. I hope we live here for a long long time.
