Older and Wiser too

A few days ago I made a trip to Fresno with not 1, not 2, not 3, but FOUR kids in tow! I made the trip with all my kids because my husband had been price shopping for a special item for the past 4 months. He found the right price at Costco, and they were going to be putting it out on the floor at 9:50 Tuesday morning, they said the items would be gone by 10:15. So, Tuesday morning I ran to Costco and made it there by 10:00.
I had Gloria push one basket with Olivia and Cami. I got another basket and we found the large item. I asked the NICE associates at Costco if I could please store my basket with the large item at the front of the store until I was done shopping- they said SURE! But they couldn't guarantee it would be there when I got back! That meant, I had to take it with me! I had just driven to Fresno with 4 kids, I NEEDED to do my grocery shopping while I was there. So, Gloria pushed one cart with Cami, Olivia's car seat and food around the store. I pushed the other basket with our large item and Gray while I was holding Olivia. People were soooo nice and complimentary on what well behaved children I had (and I do, they are super).
I was relaying the hectic experience to my older and wiser sister on the phone when I got home. Her first response was NOT "Wow! You are super mom", she simply said to me "Well, why didn't you just go and pay for your big item, take it out to your car, and then go back into the store and finish your shopping?"!
Well, that is why she is the older and wiser sister and I am clearly the younger and more confused sister! Next time, I am calling for advice BEFORE I go an do something crazy again!Mom, little sister, OLDER AND WISER SISTER, and Me!!

Do you want some candy?

Last night I had to drive to Fresno. Cami wanted to go on the LONG drive with me. So, to keep her awake, we played a game of "You are A...." She would say "You are a Lion" and I would Roar. She would say, "You are A Dog" and I would woof. You get the idea.
So, Cami says to me "You Are Aunt Ilesha". I laughed and asked her what an Aunt Ilesha Says. Cami told me, Leesha Says "Do you want some candy? Do you want a treat? I have some candy for you."!
I laughed and laughed... Here are some pictures of Aunt Ilesha giving the kids some... well, CANDY!! (She even tried to give some to the baby!!)

We love you, Aunt Ilesha!!

Stil here

Here is a quick update..... we still are in the rented house (so many of you have asked). We hope to close next week on the new house, I will post pictures of it when things start getting put together. We are really just going to move things over slowly, as we still have to pay the lease on the house we are renting through June... we are not in a hurry. We have about 20 boxes in our garage that we never emptied, knowing that we would not be here long. So, we will start by moving those things over.
FYI- yesterday we wore SWEATERS. It was rainy and in the high 50's.... so I will not brag about our warmth anymore, it just comes back to bite me in the- well, you know!! :)
PS: my baby is nearing the 12 hour mark at night.... HURRAY!!!! I am starting to feel a little more rested. LOVE IT!
