Gilroy

This past weekend we went to a little city called Gilroy, just a few short hours from out house. In Gilroy they have a little amusement park called "Gilroy Gardens" and met up with some good friends from dental school. It was great to see our friends. So fun!! The kids loved seeing each other again and after a full day at the park and dinner together, the kids still cried when it was time to leave each other. The kids had a great time together. The park was AWESOME. It was a really great day. After the amusement park we went to our friends parent's home for dinner and the kids played and played and played. They found snails all over the place and that was certainly a highlight of the day. If any of you ever pass through Gilroy, California, and if you have young kids (10 and under) then Gilroy Gardens would be a lot of fun for you all. The park is certainly aimed at younger children and our young children were in heaven. Liv could ride on nearly every ride (I think there were only 2 she could not go on). It was perfect and we loved it. We loved being with friends and wished that they could visit more, it was a lot of fun to hang out with them again!!
