A Great Lady, Our mom/Grandma

Last week, Travis's mom, Gloria Kendall, passed away. It has been a very difficult time for us. She passed away on Thursday, March 28. We hopped in our car and drove to Utah that night. We arrived in Utah on Friday morning. We cried and spent time with family mourning the loss of truly one of the greatest moms and Grandma's to every grace this earth. I am blessed, so very blessed, to have known her and to have been loved by her. She is such a wonderful, thoughful, kind and caring person. As a Grandma, she rocked!! While Travis was in dental school Grandma sent our children packages every week, sometimes twice a week. She came out to visit us as much as she could. She called all the time, and whenever we got the chance to visit her she spoiled our kids so much. As a mother in law, she was the best ever. I count myself lucky to have had such a wonderful mother in law. She was constantly trying to make us as happy and worried about what she could do to help us. She was an amazing mother, I know because she raised 6 really wonderful kids!!  They are all so loving and kind and just the best in laws I could have ever hoped for. Gloria was a Christ-like example to all those around her. She never wished any harm on anyone and was kind and loving to all those around her. Always looking for how she could help others. She was also super funny. That lady could crack some pretty funny jokes, and a lot of the time she did it with a straight face, kept us all guessing all the time if she was being serious or pulling our chain! Most of the time she was indeed pulling our chain!! We were constantly laughing, she had a quick wit and loved to laugh. It was a pleasure to be near her.
We will miss our Grandma and mom.
