This year for Memorial Day I had decided to stay home and have a relaxing, lazy day. My closest girl friends also decided this was a fantastic idea !! We had all decided that it would be nice to not have to wake up early, cook, clean, or do much of anything. However, the men in our lives had decided that a day at the lake was called for. In the end, we made a compromise. The guys let the girls sleep in as long as we liked, then they took the boats to the lake and got them on the water, all we had to do was show up! It was a win-win plan. It was a wonderful day. The weather was not too hot, but still warm enough to enjoy getting in the water. The kids all loved swimming and tubing and boating and they were all happy and on their best behavior. It was nice to hang out with friends and to relax. It was a great day! Maybe a new tradition?
