Things are almost final!!! I had high hopes for this to be done by June, but it is looking like it may not happen until July... however, the adoption home study is complete and final! Yay!! Termination of parental rights has passed it 60 day mark (with no contest). Yay!! The county has filed the paperwork placing Max in our home as an adoptive placement! YAY!!! We are now awaiting the paperwork approving Max to be an adoption placement and they say 2-3 weeks for approval of him and us!! Then, we will have to request a court date and it will be done. YAY!! YAY!! YAY!!! This is what we have been waiting the past 17 months for. We are so completely in love with this little man. He is such a wonderful little guy. He fits our family perfectly. We were missing him, until he joined our family. We just cannot wait to make it completely 100% official and he is our forever baby!! We love our little Maxton Murphy Kendall!
